PokerFriendsUnited (PFU) is a poker site which aims to bring together passionate poker players from across the globe and enable them to discuss the game in a civilised and friendly manner. PFU members cover the full spectrum of the game of poker. We have beginners who show great pride in winning a few cents in a freeroll, many of our members play recreationally, and there are those who play the game professionally.
Our members have a strong rapport with each other and this is something of which we are very proud and strive to maintain. This is one of the reasons why PFU registrations work primarily on an invite-only basis. It means that every new member already knows someone who is an established member. This should hopefully encourage each and every new PFU member to join in actively with the rest of the forum as soon as their account is activated.
If you have found our site by other means, you are still more than welcome to join even if you have not been invited. However, we do ask that when you receive the registration email, you reply to tell us a little about yourself. It does not have to be anything special - so long as you are showing a genuine interest in becoming an active member of PFU you will be accepted.
While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or other members (except for posts by these people) and hence PFU will not be held liable.
You agree not to post any material directed towards a fellow member that is abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening or sexually-oriented; or any other offensive material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.
You agree to post any potentially offensive material, material that should not be viewed by children or by people who are easily offended, or material that should not be viewed by members while they are viewing PFU from their place of work, school or college, in the forum entitled 'Not Safe For Work'. Swearing is permitted on PFU in moderation, although again we expect you to self-moderate and not excessively swear or cuss in your posts.
You agree that the administrators and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, the administrators and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
